I was a patient of Dr. Wycoff in the past. Will I still be able to see him as a patient at the Wycoff Wellness Center?
Yes, Dr. Wycoff would consider it a privilege to see you again as a patient at the Wycoff Wellness Center. Dr. Wycoff will be able to continue and provide comprehensive patient care for those interested in being seen at his new location. This office will focus on health and wellness, but has the ability to provide care for most of your health care needs.
I am considering getting pregnant. Will Dr. Wycoff be able to provide my obstetrical care?
Unfortunately, Dr. Wycoff will not be providing obstetrical services. Our office will be happy to assist you in finding a local obstetrician to manage your pregnancy. Dr. Wycoff and his staff will be happy to assist in your health care with any other medical condition that may arise during your pregnancy.
Does Dr. Wycoff see children in his practice at the Wycoff Wellness Center?
Yes, Dr. Wycoff is able to see pediatric patients for a variety of child related issues including autism, ADD & ADHD.
I have already completed many components of the "Wellness Program." Will Dr. Wycoff be able to continue this care?
Yes, it would be a privilege for you to remain as a patient with Dr. Wycoff at the Wycoff Wellness Center. Dr. Wycoff will continue to provide you with the quality of care that you have come to expect from his professional service.
Dr. Wycoff has been treating my hypertension, diabetes and other medical problems for years. Will he still provide these types of services?
Yes, Dr. Wycoff will continue to provide services for all aspects of family medicine. This would include chronic disease management for problems such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease or elevated cholesterol. The Wycoff Wellness Center stands ready to assist you and partner with you to improve your health and wellness in any way that we can find. The Wycoff Wellness Center will emphasize natural treatment options and facilitate appropriate testing and referral care. We are not able to function though as your primary care provider.
If I need to be seen today or tomorrow, will I be able to get an appointment?
Our mission is to serve your needs as a patient. We are unable to function as a primary care medical office. If you have an acute medical need, you may contact our office, but we cannot assure you of a timely appointment. We recommend you continue your ongoing health care with a primary care physician.
Will Dr. Wycoff be able to manage my medical condition(s) should I require hospitalization?
Dr. Wycoff has admitting privileges at Sparrow Hospital and Ingham Regional Medical Center. Should you require hospitalization, Dr. Wycoff would typically have in-patient care provided by the hospitalist at either hospital.
How do I arrange for my current medical records to be sent to the Wycoff Wellness Center?
Privacy statutes require a signed "Release of Medical Records Form" for you and each of your family members. Our office staff will be happy to send or email you this form. Once you complete this form and send it to your current physician's office, a copy of your medical records will be sent to our office. This process may take 4 - 6 weeks, so please allow an appropriate amount of time with these requests. Our office will assist you in completing any aspect of this process or facilitate getting the needed medical information and records. Having copies of previous records and testing completed is quite helpful in your evaluation.
